This is going to be a hard post to write, and I do wonder about how it shows people with disabilities are treated every day. So I have done a broad outline of what is the history of institutions for the disabled in Australia we don’t have a lot of broad information about disability and how it was thought about because Australia generally does follow the trends of London up until the 1900s and we started following the USA in a lot of things. However we see that one thing that has always been the same is how we cared for our disabled people, so we see that they generally were depending on the means that people had they lived with their families.   Or if they couldn’t they were taken to children’s homes and some still exist in some form however we see family-based care is much more prevalent, now as well.   As well as what is called supported independent living. This explains a lot in a short way about living with a disability, it shows how we are seen as people to be pitied, or to serve as an inspiration to make you feel better about yourself and to see what is happening within the disability community, we see that it's a massive thing to do and to see what is happening. These paid actors flipped the switch and I hope that this shows that it's ok for people to want to help but you need to be asking how it is OK that this happens to disabled people all the time and that it shouldn't be happening.  How it happens is a big thing as well, so it's a society thing as well.  It makes sense that it's a social thing and we see that this is the issue with it.
