This is going to be an interesting post to write as this clip is a follow-on from where Jace is possessed and Clary is trying to fix up the mess that she created in bringing him back from the dead and in bringing him back from the dead he was vulnerable to possession from Lilith and this being what happened to him he is under possession from Lilith and this is the mother of all demons and a person who can control demons. Clary Captures Jace And Is Then Arrested By The Clave! - Shadowhunters 3x07 'Hands On Your Head!' - YouTube   So in Clary not being brought up in the Shadow hunter’s world, she doesn’t have a lot of knowledge of demons and the world that they live in and how they act in the world as well as we see that there are a lot of mistakes that Clary makes in lying about what she has done when she knows that the clave possesses a   relic that can force people to tell the truth about a situation and to understand the world she needed to be brought up into that world.

  This is going to be an interesting post given that Magnus doesn’t seem to have a lot of respect for Jace at times and Jace seems to be quite disrespectful in the way that he sees himself and Alec as a package deal we see that he has no hesitation in barging in when Mangus and Alec are having some much fought for time alone,   something that we see is a continuing theme as I realize it is their jobs but at the same time, we see that it’s something that becomes quite complex where Magnus needs to start to understand these relationships a lot better as in a way Jace and Alec are a package deal.      We can see how annoyed Mangus and Alec are at this moment as they were only just starting to discuss their relationship at this stage we start to understand that Alec has never had a relationship due to thinking he could have what he wanted in a relationship so chose duty over his relationship prospects as he lives in a very conservative world.   Shadowhunters 2x08 ~ Alec asks Maryse t

 This is so important to talk about as it makes sense to me as Jace does have a shift in his mindset and we see that this is not a good thing as we see that he starts to mature in a way and he understands in a way what clary is going through as it makes sense to me.  That he was taken in by the light woods, at the age of 10  but knew he was a shadow hunter whereas Clary doesn't know that she is a shadow hunter so she needs to be taught as an adult what being a shadow hunter means.  Also, Jace knows that his abilities are good and he is one of the best as he has been told this from a young age as well.  But we do understand as well, that the world is brutal but the family dynamics can be interesting and complex depending on the missions they are tasked with as well. As we see that the shadow world is brutal, at times and it does at times impact the Shadow hunters in a very real way.   Jace knows that he has good skills but forgets his mission at times,  as he is in love he has found

It seems to be so complex and again when Clary comes into the world things change for everyone so we see that Jace was in with Izzy about the mission to save Melorne a Seeley  from the city of bones, and we see that Alec can't control his anger towards Jace as Part of the vow that they took was, to be honest with each other and Jace has been lying to Alec he has been going behind his back putting the institute at risk and at this point, Lydia is in charge so Alec is feeling frustrated lost, and angry at his closest friend essentially ditching him for a girl that he barely knows. We see that Jace knows that Alec was in love with him and that under all of that masking he is scared.  Magnus and Alec how to Navigate the Down world  This is a start of a series that is going to seek out what this relationship looks like and what the difficulties in age differences would look like when you look at the different aspects of this relationship they are both reacting to themselves at times. Not what the other person is doing so their reactions can be different between them because of their ages and their experiences in relationships. We see unexpected positive behaviour in their differing love languages as well. Like when Alec gives Magnus a gift and Magnus is at the hunter's moon talking to Mia, he doesn't remember when someone last gave him a present without expecting anything in return. This leads us to see that Alec's love language is a combination of gifts and acts of service. We see Magnus later in the series as time and acts of service. This is where I am reminded of that family dinner I am reminded of, where the others went on a mission at late notice.
