Jace and his Mind set impacts on Others part two.

Image
This is a follow-up post on Jace and his mindset as it goes from very stable to very unstable due to clary bringing Jace back from the dead as he was at peace, we see that even Alec knows that Jace was dead and seeks to bring the truth out of Clary but she carries that with her to the point of lying about it and then covering up that lie.   As we forget that Clary hasn’t been brought up in the shadow world and that she doesn’t realize that Alec can feel Jace and that he knew it and this is the start of Jace’s mindset shift from cocky to vulnerable. Something that can happen in reality if you have a chronic illness or develop a disability. That prevents you from having a “normal,” life. SHADOWHUNTERS 2x20 JACE DIES - ALEC'S REACTION (WITHOUT CLACE PARTS) - YouTube In this clip, we see that Clary finally tells Alec that she used the wish to bring him back this made him vulnerable to demonic possession from Lilith and it makes him so focused that we see that he isn’t himself.

Heavenly Fire and the Consequences of lack of informed consent.

Heavenly fire and the consequences of dealing without consent. This has been an interesting post to think about as it deals with some very heavy topics that are still very much hot-button topics in the disability community. So We see that Heavenly fire is an off-the-books clave program, that people have died for so we see that there is an issue with this at times as we discover it is a program that Aldertree is running very illegally.   ShadowhuntersSeason 3, Episode 17 | Helen Sabotages The Heavenly Fire Supply | Freeform -YouTube   As we discover he is just as bad as valentine in that he wants to rid the world of down worlders and we see that he is trailing it to put it into the water supply in NY and that this would then clans NY and then the world as the Shadow hunters have the time and resources to do so to clans the world of down world. But we do see that it is “off the books,” and that it is experimented on with prisoners and we see that they aren’t told what is

Clary and Simon and the Shadow world. Season One Shadowhunter's.

Image
So this is going to be possibly another series of posts about this relationship as it does progress and show's how making decisions on behalf of others can lead to unexpected consequences this starts with Simon trying to protect Clary as they are young adults and he knows nothing about this world and because he can't see what Clary can see he tries to protect her as the assumptions is that she is on something and this is creating problems.  Yet when he discovers she can see the "Shadow world," and he can't he is concerned as a good friend should be yet Jace can show Simon what Clary can see in later episodes in this season.  Jess Penner - "Don't Come Over" Music | Shadowhunters Season 1, Episode 1 | Freeform - YouTube It does create massive problems for the Shadowhunters, due to her ( in the first series) not realizing she is the daughter of one of their own who went rogue. Thinking that some agreements that were made are, a little too lenient on th

The Lightwood's Izzy and Addiction - Shadow hunters

Image
This is a continuation of the series of the Lightwood family that is talking about family dysfunction, this is the second post focusing on Izzy Lightwood and her behavior resulting from her relationships with her parents and later her brothers. We see in this clip that their mother favors political alliance's over the family's happiness, and order over comfort. Their mother needs a quick political alliance to restore their influence at the Clave, this is the organization that oversees the Shadow Hunters internationally. It is based in Alicante the Shadow Hunter's spiritual homeland. That is glamoured to Mundane much like most of the Shadow World. This leads to her seeking out relationships that don't have any real attachment to them before she meets Raphaelle and later Simon. Her secure attachment isn't to her Mother and Father it is to Alec and we see that he is the Caregiver of the siblings. Izzy is anxious in her attachment style, she is attached to her

Disablity and why I agree with Dr Jorden Peterson.

So as the title says I agree with Dr. Peterson. Some in the disability community feel that he doesn't really get the limits we have but he is speaking to a very wide audience. Generally, an audience of lost disaffected people mostly men, who have been raised on a diet of everyone gets trophies, social media, and learning about their rights but not their social responsibilities.  He is teaching them very basic topics that turn a lot of them from men who are angry at the world to men that are taking responsibility for their lives.  So some rules are sensible and were taught but the way that social media has stripped away critical thinking and the ability of people to form relationships in real life and to grasp that things that you say online would have real-world consequences. To have someone talk the real honest truth to them seems to be the wake-up call that they needed. 12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson: Summary, Notes, and Lessons - Nat Eliason One of his rules is to aim at
