How to survive a horror movie ( satire ) not real advice

How to survive a horror movie   This post started out as a dare from my housemates as on a Saturday afternoon when cleaning is done we watch whatever B roll strait to tv movie is on and we have worked out how to survive a horror movie, so this is a list of how to get out alive and I write it as a joke but well aware that some of these we teach young women to stay alive.   However these are intended as a joke and fun at the horror movie genre General tips ·        Be situationally aware don’t park in dark spots. ·        Don’t go following the stranger that is following you. ·        Don’t sit in your car alone lock the doors and drive off. ·        Drive straight to your location don’t take the dark detour. ·        Don’t talk on your mobile while walking home in the dark ·        Don’t go to the second location if offered freedom. ·        Don’t answer the baby cry it’s a trap call the cops. ·        Keep your hair tied back it could become a hazard or a weapon.

The Ableism Trap: Manifesting Away Disabilities, Ignoring Systemic Failures

Picture this: you're stuck in a system that's supposed to support you, but all it does is fall short at every turn. Your needs aren't being met, your voice isn't being heard, and the frustration is building with each passing day. Enter manifesting – the latest trend in self-care – offering a tantalizing escape route from your troubles. But here's the catch: your troubles aren't just going to vanish into thin air. They're deeply rooted in systemic failures, conveniently overlooked by the glittery facade of manifesting. Let's shine a light on the elephant in the room: NDIS agencies. These are supposed to be the lifelines for people with disabilities, providing essential support and services to improve their quality of life. But what happens when these agencies fail to deliver? What happens when the funding dries up, leaving clients stranded in a sea of unmet needs? For many, manifesting someone out of their life isn't just about convenience – it'

The internet and consent, a wider discussion we need to have.

Hey so this is a really random post but one that ties into a wider discussion I think we as a society need to have around consent, and     the internet being forever. I have learnt that the hard way, but I am currently working on some other blog posts and I came across a screen shot of David tenant on Tumblr and it looked recent and it was from his wife’s Instagram ( David doesn’t do social media but is aware of it.) But I saw that they zeroed in on his foot where being pride boots, and then immediately    started speculating on his sexual preferences, as they have been doing for a couple of years since Good Omens has come out, and I am not saying I have anything against his preferences and his marriage but I started digging into his wife’s Instagram account and I saw in most of the posts that he was in and I might be totally wrong he looked scared or annoyed and there are some very recent ones that seem    to be quite invade and that she was filming without his knowledge, and I do

What I want to say to Tumbr fan girls that slam me but can't

Some of you have never worked with high-profile people or in the arts and it dam well shows. How can I say that you have never worked in the art, or with high-profile people, because people don’t know the technical terms, that are commonly used in the industry some of you are trying to use them but we are seeing that people don’t want to use it, in the correct terms? So, an important thing to remember is that you are only seeing what an actor or content creator wants you to see and that there is something called fan service. You also see that people, see that people need to be able to understand what is happening with premieres and press nights they might be flirting but again we see what they want us to see and that is a part of their work and it’s a very noisy environment, and that is why people need to be looking at people’s lips. Using the terms out of context is not great and it shows that you’re interested but not interested in learning the correct terms, One take doesn’t m

What I find weird about Tumbler fan girls

So I don’t know what it is but I have discovered that there is something inherently wrong to with Tumber it is a website dedicated to Fan art and fan fiction. However there is a lot of what we see and I am in the camp of it’s creepy and wrong,    an art form called real people shipping for those who aren’t aware of what shipping is it’s what they call shipping non-cannon, characters together. I am okay with shipping fictional characters but I am not okay with shipping real-life people as you watch it and see it brought up at fan conventions and on talk shows and they talk about how uncomfortable it does make them and to me, this is a little weird and creepy and potentially unhinged because some fans and it seems to confuse reality and fiction and even when their real-life spouses are doing creepy stuff, like recording content without their consent and something that I have learned the hard way is to ask for consent when talking about family and to watch your tone, but I see that p

Watching Shakespeare as an adult is wild and modern stages

I have watched the David Tennant and Catherine Tate versions of Much Ado About Nothing, and they have it with the original wording, but with more modern sets and costumes and the inflections are very different. I have realized a few things as an adult about Shakespeare's work and what some sections of the arts community consider his problem plays,    I can see where Romeo and Juliet is problematic as it’s often considered a romance but it is in classical terms when you go back to the 3 basic categories of a play being, comedy, romance and tragedy, it is a tragedy,    in terms of the ending that there is death. Much ado about nothing is considered a romance and people,    often forget in the teaching of these plays that they are meant to be performances, and not analyzed to death, and that turns students off. I know that I was lucky to have an amazing family and teachers who got me interested in the arts and I have seen several of Shakespeare’s plays live by either professional ac

People I admire David Tennant

https://open.spotify.com/episode/0xXXqbLOhn2KojUUymkdSM?si=9ce34142b4d743f8 So, I didn’t think I would make this post, but I think I need to for my mental health and I acknowledge that I need to make it and that I don’t know this person. But I have to say I admire their work and the way that they live their lives as a person. Due to how we see many actors get political, we see them take the popular stance to not anger the woke mob. I know that he has a lovely family and actively keeps them out of social media, and he can keep his private life just that.    He has also navigated having a large family and a nonbinary child and rumour's about his sexuality with grace and that is something that I can’t say that I haven’t taken an interest in, and have to be honest and I have commented over on Tumblr about being a bad fan for seeing his wife post content without active consent, but I realize that I don’t know them and was in what I could consider a parasocial bond but I am realizing it&

Recovery 2007

This is going to be a hard one to write about and I am not sure if I should post it to the media blog or the main one. Still, I will post to both, and I have to admit I haven’t been able to finish the film but I have been watching the David Tennant movie Recovery and it’s on Tubi if you want to watch it legally. But you can also find it online as well. It is a well-done movie and it is a very accurate portrayal of a brain injury. It tells the story of    Allen head of a construction firm that suffers a traumatic brain injury and I have to say that its portrayal is accurate as it not only focuses on him as a brain injury survivor but also the family trying to accept that the person that they knew is gone and that there is a different person in place and the frustration of a person who “ present’s” as able-bodied but isn’t and has what we now know as a hidden disability as we don’t say invisible as this means that it may not be their, but hidden well it’s simply hidden from public vi

The why files a review of a hidden gem

So I have be waiting to do this post for a while and it’s a review , of a really great content creator and I have to say this person is amazing as from what I understand the presenter used to be a TV producer pre pandemic, and I see that the production values are amazing.   He also has a    side kick called heckle fish, and this is at times a necessary tension breaker, it’s a channel and pod cast called the why files and it’s amazing he covers a lot of topics, including conspiracy theories, “sudo science” and other Mythological content that people might have proven but been dismissed by legal media using there very old play book that was exposed in manufacturing consent. But he really does his homework and his big difference between Russel brand and other debunking channels is there is no overarching political motive or past that people can use against him. He also takes a very balanced approach in what he sorry to say debunks using science and a lot of homework, he makes a point o

Blog lessons and by for now

Hey all so when I started this blog I had know Idea what I was getting into, I didn’t realise how much work it would take, I was also in a housing situation that put stress on people in my personal life but now I have a bit of a handle on content creation and I am getting spam emails about leveling up my content. However, I have a bit of time on my hands so there won’t be new content for a while as I am going to focus on better quality content and brining several blogs into one so we say by to the brand and the long winded Annie in wonderland how to externe the NDIS and hollow to Annie in wonderland, on the blog. I am not leaving content creation but wanting to focus on some study to enable me to make better overall content weather it be the blog, you tube, rumble or the podcast. I am also learning some life skills and lessons that are valuable and never to late to learn. I am working on being able to be independent, but accepting care at the same time, and this is a hard one t

Life update and changes for me around content creation.

Hi all so it’s been a while since I have done a blog post and that is because I have been diving into life, but there have been some massive changes and these are great things the first one is that there has been a change of care staff in the house I am yet to meet one but I am assured that she is lovely despite being young. I have been connecting with my family and wider community as well and finally have some time to sit and write in between this I have been organizing and decorating my home and I have accepted that this is my home. However, I would like a holiday, so this is my next goal, also my community access care staff have been amazing despite having changes there, I have realised that Mark Twain was right the only thing certain in life is death and taxes.   This is money that needs to be spent to avoid pitfalls in the long run such as getting my life documents in order (my will, enduring power of attorney and advanced health directives) out from the public trustee and
