My thoughts on friendly Jordie's speaking up when it matters.

This post is one that again I am a bit scared of and yes I am a person who can be scared of my success, in a way, but it is my thoughts on the friendly Jordie’s situation, he is a political YouTuber who has successfully tackled topics that the mainstream media won’t or can’t touch due to funding or other issues such as not being able to give fair and unbiased coverage. I will be the first to say I don’t agree with everything he says but that is where living in a democratic society is a blessing, but we see that actions have consequences and freedom of speech isn’t freedom of consequences.

But now one deserves the consequences of having your home targeted and the mainstream media doxing you, doxing is putting someone else’s private information, on the internet without their express consent with the intent to do them harm, this is a very dark side of the internet culture, and we see that this and cancel culture is on every creator’s mind when we see people taking offense to their content.

This scares me as a disabled creator as I don’t have the access to the legal team and the resources that he and other Australian content creators have but it shows that he is speaking truth to power and that they don’t like it as it was possibly a targeted attack due to the location of his house.

However, there have been other attacks in the area, as well but they do believe it was targeted.

It makes me hesitant to keep creating but he has spoken truth to power and exposed a lot of dodgy going on in politics, media bias, clubs, and the union movement and has brought to the internet generation how to think critically about what the media is telling us and how to find out the truth and this is where we see that freedom of speech is under attack as he was also followed by the fixated person unit a unit set up for counterterrorism, and it was proven under false pretensions, that the former deputy premia of NSW John Barilaro was behind it all.

This is interesting as there is still fallout from that saga that is still ongoing in that we in Australia are deciding if google is a publisher or a platform and if it is a publisher who is responsible for content uploaded to YouTube and blogs hosted by google.

It shows a level of contempt for friendly Jordie’s as I do admit that I believe he has crossed the line but he did a great job of exposing the corruption in NSW and did what the mainstream media could not do.  [i]

So in bringing this back to my thoughts on it, it shows that people are taking notice of Youtubers and what they are doing and the disruption they are having and having it in an interesting way as his stick is sarcasm and this is where people seem to not get the humour or satire in what he is doing, but it scares me that people who are willing to stand up for what is right are targeted in a democratic country so it reinforces, the maximum of  to learn who is truly in power learn whom you are not allowed to criticise.  That was said by Kevin Alfred Strom who had a questionable background in that he had affiliations with supremacy groups.

So I will be focusing on Media content for a while with this in mind as the NDIS is becoming a bit of a political hot button, and this is something that needs to change but I don’t have access to the resources he does to continue the fight and this isn’t the first time that Youtubers that are bringing up these issues have tried to be silenced because they aren’t tied to the main stream media they can’t manufacture flack against people and have tried and true news cycle up and running in a way. That works for everyone as there are crowdfunding sights that allow people to be indented and this is where the Youtubers can have a completely independent style.  Juice media had a similar run-in with people in govement despite all of the there branding being clearly satire, to the point it was mentioned in court so there has been an ongoing war on free speech, and it is moving from online to the real world very quickly.
