  I haven’t done a deep dive into Magnus’s and Alec’s for a while and I was quite green when I started blogging I haven’t done an in-depth look at this relationship except in the context of it being a place where both parties start to heal from trauma. So we see that they both have a massive amount of trauma in their lives and that they can recognize this and in a way we see that this is a good thing as some people including me have been in a very unhealthy relationships that turned out to be what we would call trauma bonds not love. Magnus’s last meaningful full relationship would have been with Camille Belcourt and that would have been an abusive relationship as she would manipulate him to do her bidding and we see that it was a very off-and-on relationship. [i] It essentially was coercive control of Magnus and this is more common than we would like to think with males it takes a very different look as it can happen when a relationship breaks down or he needs to be home straight

  We are now going to do a deep dive into Mia and what happens when you have a lack of support. We see that she is strong and independent but also that she didn’t get there alone and has gone through a lot. From her teen years until now she wasn’t cared for until Luke found her when  she was found bitten by a werewolf (Jordan) and left to turn. This is difficult for her to process as it was her boyfriend (Jordan) who got bitten as well and he didn’t know how to tell her so simply ghosted her (he stopped communicating with her) and left her to turn alone. Even though he had stopped speaking to her, he started following and essentially stalking her until Mia told him to leave her alone. Jordan only actually left Mia alone once he had attacked her and bitten her then left her to turn. This is going to be an interesting post to write and I am going to expect a fair bit of debate around it as we see that Mangus agreed to the Memory wipes and Joslyn paid him for it. So this starts to pose a very interesting question about what happens when you overprotect someone because of your actions. I see that this is a good thing to be protected and challenged. But Clary is at a serious loss when we see that she discovered she is a shadow hunter and doesn’t know who to trust or to go to for help as we see that Luke the person who she sees as her father figure isn’t who he says he is and that we see that she is tolerated but not accepted as she wasn’t brought up as part

This is going to be an interesting post to write as this clip is a follow-on from where Jace is possessed.
