 This is such an interesting post to write about as I have grown so much as a writer in doing this blog and the trauma that comes into the Shadow world is very real and listening and spending time with people who work with people with complex trauma has given me a very different perspective on it.  So please I do welcome you to start the conversation on the blog and to suggest to me content ideas as well.   I  am now starting to look at this through a wider lens one that says that we are all humans and that these guys are human as well and that this humanity is what their relationship's so complex as well as the fact that they are willing to sacrifice themselves for the good of humanity. I see that this is a good thing however we do see that it comes at a price for most of them. In that, the mission comes first this could be as simple as finding out where demons are coming from or as complex as a mission to banish a greater demon back to the realm it came from in the shadow world. 

The issues of social media.  'The winter of our disconnect.' By Susan Maushart published in 2010   I read a book a while ago called 'The winter of our  disconnect.' It was an experiment in going screen-free for a year her herself and her 3 teens and the results it had on the family. This was back in 2008 so we need to see where we have gone with the internet from there the issues she outlined have only got worse during the pandemic and as the technology has gotten more advanced and the issues around it have got more complex and the complexity of the socio-political landscape has got worse and more polarized due to the internet and that we can be connected from anywhere as we did see the internet used more and more to keep people connected during the pandemic.   However, we saw that this created more issues than it solved. However what I want to focus on is that we see a very different side of Alec, a massive progression from someone so focused on work and uptight to someone who can have a drink. We see that this is during a season when Alec and Magus are having issues and Alec finds that he can talk to Underhill. He sees that he can trust him. From the little we see of him we see that he was the head of  Cyber security.   Alec is also respected and admired for the way he runs the institute.  Being gracious he accepts help from a subordinate in a difficult situation.  A situation could easily become a massive issue for Alec and it could really not help his cause to have this blow up on him.  As he had to fight so hard to even be

What is media?  When I started this blog, I didn’t know what I was doing or how I was going to go. And I found myself at a loss of what to write about due to the NDIS (The National Disability insurance scheme) being such a hot-button topic at the time. However, I widened the scope to include media; focusing on disability representation and how disability is discussed in popular media.   This led me to think about the simple question What is MEDIA?
